Luton Airport Car Park Fire – Was it really started by a diesel car?

There have been dramatic images of the huge car park fire at Luton Airport in the UK, which consumed 1500 vehicles and caused part of the structure to collapse.

The media has been reporting that the car that started it was a diesel, contrary to much online speculation that it was an EV.
